Superior: Vengeance (PC) - Drifter Entertainment

My Role

As technical sound designer, my role was to own the audio mix, implementation, and assets relating to audio in Unreal 4.
Notable things I added to superior:

 

- Volume based ambient audio system for switching ambience beds, and low passing other ambient volumes.
- Convolution based reverb implementation
- Adaptive music system for in/out combat as well as objective based horizontal resequencing and stingers
- Tag based VO implementation for AI and player characters
- Voice acting for the Bartender, CARL, Jarhead, and speedy scrap’s
- Designing reactive VO systems for soldier banter
- Design and implementation of reactive player commentary (Ex: post damage, objective reminders, killstreak, out of ammo, multi-kill etc )
- Physmat based footstep system
- Anim notifies for foley organized through data tables
- Implementation of 50+ shooter based weapon audio feedback
- Ricochet and bullet impact system (collaboration with engineers)
